SOUTH Sydney training has been pretty funky at times in recent years with co-owner Russell Crowe taking a hands-on approach with the NRL club.
Ten-pin bowling, bike rides and a fly-on-the-wall documentary were all part of being one of Crowe's glamorous Rabbitohs under youthful ex-coach Jason Taylor.
Distracting or not for the players, it seems that won't change under new mentor - and NRL veteran - John Lang.
The Rabbitohs are in Coffs Harbour, near to where Crowe owns a property, to prepare for Saturday's trial against the Gold Coast.
The north coast visit has become a tradition since the Hollywood star took over.
