RCFF Update

We've got three new pieces by Atonia up today, all part of her house series.

Reluctant Spring Follows Wild in Winter

And

Prelude Part 1

Along with

The House Redoux

Sorry it took me so long to get them up but I indexed the "House" series page here

House of the Four Seasons Index

A shout out to Jo for her help with that and for her editing skills since I lifted some of her update.

Thank you JO!

I really want to get to a Glen update but the work on the site kept me from it today. No worries, eh?

Russell Crowe Fan Fiction Update-April 12

G'Day Folks

Well, I finally managed to give Front Page a good slap and it decided to go ahead and work with me instead of against me. So I'm pleased to announce this weekend's RCFF main site update.

For a change, this week is a relatively short update, but there are a couple of new items I think will be of interest to you.

First up, it's Atonia with Day 4 of Remembering Life:

REMEMBERING LIFE

James leaves his bed for the first time since his stroke. He wants to be able to meet Peg's boyfriend up and dressed like a 'real' man.

******

Kaz is up next with a nice Terry story:

THEY MANAGED TO FIND A BOTTLE OF MACALLAN

Terry is back from Tecala, and determined to unwind.

******

We have two new chapters from Stacey this week:

MY ISLAND 21-21

On the Island, rescue is finally at hand. 18 months later, Collin prepares for his first interview in four years.

******

We have a new story for our Moving On section for you all this week:

SAIL AWAY, SAIL AWAY, SAIL AWAY

Jack and Beej, along with some friends, prepare to take Surprise out on a little cruise.

******

Finally, here's the first story from our Brand New community New Auckland:

INTRODUCING GERARD CAMPBELL

Gerard Campbell, a Kiwi by birth, an architect of renown. He buys an abandoned Whaling village on the north west coast of Western Australia with the dream of selling off plots and designing homes for his new neighbours. Will he managed to breathe life into the place he's loving called New (Port) Auckland?

Well, that's it for this week. The main site will continue to be updated every weekend for the time being, although that may change to once every two weeks later on. Depending on the interest for New Auckland, this site will be updated twice a week, we are thinking Wednesday and Saturday. As usual though, we do not have a deadline, so there is no fear of sending your stories in too late to be included. If you send them...we will publish, so keep those stories coming in.

Keep reading, keep writing. It wouldn't be the same without you all.

Russell Crowe Fan Fiction Update

G'Day Folks

The Glen has a pair of sprightly cub reporters in Abby and Libby, but you have to put up with this ancient Woolly Mammoth for the main site update.

So, apologies for being a day late this week. It was due to a slight technical hitch...in layman's talk that means, "Where on earth did I save that file?" Anyway, the hitch has been overcome, and I found the file...just don't ask where it was, okay, or I may have to 'nudge' you with my Woolly Mammoth tusks :-)

So without further delay, here is this week's update...

We start with Atonia, who as always has been keeping busy on the writing front. Well done, Atonia:

nashold.jpg

REMEMBERING LIFE
day 3

Jim has taken a stand and fired the nurse. He doesn't want any more meds, but just wants to be with his beloved Molly.

THE FIFTH SEASON part 5

ben firelite12.jpg

It's fitting that this is the 5th and final part of this Ben Wade story. Tissues anyone?

ON THE EDGE part 10

rm_249.jpg

We say farewell to another favourite. Alex has got his story, Lori agrees to testify, and gets a new agent. What will be the final outcome...

******

Next up is a collaboration between Ilaria and Steph. Yes, it's our favourite General:

THE SPANIARD

Maximus has been sold into slavery...twice. There's no honour amongst the traders. How will his new life unfold?

******

From BRIDGID, we have a ROFL episode in the life of Steve and Millie, and their little angel, Brookie:

SORRY BRANSON

Follow the latest escapades of Steve, Millie and Brook, the mini wrecking crew, as they take a day trip to Branson, Missouri

*******************************

Finally for this week, another two chapters from Stacey:

MY ISLAND parts 18 and 19

Okay, gang, that's it for another week. There's going to be more from The Glen throughout the week as usual, but for now, I'm off back to my ice cave. I'll be sure to thaw out before next weekend.

Keep reading, keep writing...it wouldn't be the same without you all.

Cheers

Well folks, as promised here's the late addition to the RCFF update I hinted at, and thanks so much to Atonia for getting in under the wire:
Atonia is a very prolific writer on RCFF. We appreciate all of her hard work and we sure appreciate her contributions to RCFF and the Glen
Susan is staying with her brother and his family at the old family house. Alone, she walks out one morning to see a stranger on a big black horse ride towards her...That really is all for theis update, people.
Once again, thanks to all our readers and writers, and I hope you enjoy the stories.
Bridgid, Beej, M, Marie, Stacey and Layne
Thanks to Kaz for the RCFF banner
