With May being one of the biggest release months on the movie calendar, this means that Universal has high hopes for it. So do I! And all of Russell's other fans!

Currently set for the cast are Cate Blanchett as Maid Marian, Mark Strong as Sir Godfrey, Kevin Durand as Little John, Scott Grimes as Will Scarlet, and Alan Doyle as minstrel Allan A'Dayle.

"Body of Lies" on DVD Today

two-discspecialedition

Starting today, Crowe fans can bring home Ed Hoffman on DVD. It was first reported by some reviewers that Body of Lies, starring Russell, Leonardo DiCaprio and Mark Strong and directed by Ridley Scott, would be available only as a bare-bones single-disc edition with no extras or bonus materials. Thankfully, however, that has proven not to be the case.

The movie is available in a regular DVD edition in either full-screen or wide-screen, with special features like commentary tracks and interviews with the cast. It is also available in Blu-Ray and as a two-disc special edition on Amazon.

Cate Blanchett as Maid Marion?

Cate Blanchett

According to the Telegraph, among other sources, Cate Blanchett is looking like more of a certainty for the role of Maid Marion opposite Russell in Nottingham. Once it was deemed that Sienna Miller would no longer be playing the part, it was rumored that Kate Winslet, along with Blanchett and Rachel Weisz, were being considered.

According to Mark Strong, who is also part of the cast:

"I think Cate Blanchett is set to take the Maid Marian part. She is a wonderful actress and it would make it a much classier film if she was in it."

Great news if it's true! Strong is right. She's a wonderful actress!
