Glen Times for March 13th

It sure looks like we may have a quiet weekend folks but there's always something happening at the Glen. We have a good sized issue for you tonight.

You'll all be pleased to know that the Braddock's will be opening their grocery store soon, partly in thanks to Max Skinner. Gotta wonder what Ivy was so nervous about!

Alistair and Ahnna share a bit of their first night together with us and its a very very lovely night preceding one that surely isn't so.

Kate and Sid take the big plunge before they return to the Glen. She asks him one very interesting question after all the I do's are said and done.

Terry needs a night out and he makes a new friend in the process, one that needs the guidance of an older wiser man. Sharing a drink at Millie's is just the place for it.

Toni has a talk with Richie about certain surprises she wouldn't appreciate being sprung on her but she ends up with one that any woman would enjoy.

Travis and Tee have a little snicker. well kind of. He knows he's a lucky boy but it looks like Travis will be as well.

Joimus and Maximus have a bit of a chat. A little about Marce's funeral but a little about a new resident coming to the Glen. Read on.

Lastly we have a bit of a fantasy from Toni, so she thinks. Who did she see in the woods? We may never know but then again......

Release Date for Robin Hood

The latest Russell Crowe/Ridley Scott collaboration now has a release date set! Empire Magazine, among other sources, has reported that the tentatively titled "Robin Hood" movie has been slated for release on May 14, 2010 by Universal Pictures. With May being one of the biggest release months on the movie calendar, this means that Universal has high hopes for it. So do I! And all of Russell's other fans!

Currently set for the cast are Cate Blanchett as Maid Marian, Mark Strong as Sir Godfrey, Kevin Durand as Little John, Scott Grimes as Will Scarlet, and Alan Doyle as minstrel Allan A'Dayle.

The Glen Times Update

Howdy, Ya'll!

Yep, it's me, Abby, resident cub reporter, bringing you your Glen Times update...all the stories that are fit to print. Seems Cal and Colleen thought Libby and I did sucha great job while they were away on their vacation, they're giving me yet another shot at it tonight. So, let's fire up the press and get this party started!

First up, Amanda shows Johnny a few piccies of her new cottage and is surprised to find outit's a cottage for two. How will he react when he finds out he's her new roomie?

Travis asks Jan to stay with him, but with a few obstacles in her way - including Travis' mum - will she find it possible to do so? Heh...with a man like that, she'd be crazy not to! That gal should know by now, anything is possible with Travis.

Now that she's been invited for tea in his home, what else might Julie find learn about Richard? Is it justhis love of books and a vivid imagination, or could there be a bit more to his past than she realizes?
It's a special day for Alistair and Ahnna - their wedding day, and what better way to spend it than in a place that's dear to Alistair's heart and with good friends.

Miss Peeg has made a huge discovery in the Wade file. Will she keep it to herself or will she let this secretoutta the bag? I'm beginning to think maybe this woman might make a great investigative reporter. Hmm...remind me to stay on her good side.

Well gang, there's yet another new resident in town... Well, he's on his way here, anyway. Let's hope Zack Grantlikes what he sees once he has a bit of a look around this little town of ours and makes it his permanent residence.

Joe Sweeny is dead and John Biebe is the one holding the smoking gun, but how will he handle it? Hang in there, sheriff! You did the right thing, babe, and I'm pretty certain that cute bloke lurking in the barn that witnessed the wholething will have your back!

Tom and Steve have been called in to the station commander's office. Have they been bad lads, or are they in for a grandsurprise?

G'Day folks

Well, here in the UK it's a nice sunny Sunday morning. Good thing too as I think when Misty had her surgery, her internal clock was put forward...she' s getting me up at 6:00 every morning to go out....not good.
